Malayalam television actor and former Bigg Boss Malayalam 7 winner Anumol has surprised fans by tying the knot in an intimate ceremony at the Guruvayoor Temple. The actor married Bhuvanesh Rajendiran on Tuesday morning, keeping the wedding largely under wraps until just a day before the ceremony.
For the traditional wedding, Anumol opted for a golden-hued lehenga, while Bhuvanesh complemented her look in a matching-toned kurta and mundu. The ceremony was attended by close family members and friends, with actor Suresh Gopi also spotted at the temple.
The wedding came as a pleasant surprise for Anumol's fans, who had little idea that the actor was preparing to embark on a new chapter. Just a day before the ceremony, she had shared pictures from what appeared to be a pre-wedding-style photoshoot. Her cryptic post about a "new beginning" had left followers curious, but few expected wedding bells so soon.
The marriage is an arranged match, with the proposal coming through a mutual friend. Bhuvanesh, who is Tamilian, is associated with modelling and acting. Following the intimate ceremony at Guruvayoor, the newlyweds are expected to host a reception for their loved ones in Thiruvananthapuram.
Anumol has built a strong fan base through her work in Malayalam television. She initially made her mark by taking on lead roles in Malayalam serials before gaining wider popularity through the celebrity game show Tamaar Padaar.
Her television career also earned her recognition at the TV Awards. In 2023, she won the Best Second Heroine award for her performance as Surabhi in the sitcom Surabhiyum Suhasiniyum.
However, it was her stint on Bigg Boss Malayalam 7 that took her popularity to another level. Anumol emerged as the winner of the reality show, strengthening her connection with audiences beyond the world of daily soaps.
