Popular actress Trisha Krishnan is celebrating her 43rd birthday today. She marked the special occasion by offering prayers at the revered Tirupati temple. Dressed in traditional attire, the actress greeted paparazzi and fans eager to catch a glimpse of her. Amid this, a section of netizens linked her visit to rumoured beau Vijay, noting it comes on the day of the election results.
The actress was seen at the temple premises early in the morning, where she had darshan and sought blessings. Dressed in a simple floral outfit, she kept her look understated and traditional. She greeted paparazzi waiting outside and also posed for pictures with fans who had gathered to catch a glimpse of her. She waved, smiled, and accepted birthday wishes.
A section of posts suggested that she may have chosen to pray at the shrine of Lord Venkateswara ahead of the Tamil Nadu election results, linking it to Vijay's party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK). Earlier, during polling on April 23, Trisha posted a photo on social media after casting her vote, which also received significant online attention.
For those unversed, Tirumala is among India's most revered Hindu shrines. Dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, also known as Balaji, the centuries-old temple draws millions of devotees from across the country and abroad every year. Recent weeks have also seen several celebrity visits to the shrine. Earlier, actors Vivek Oberoi, Tamannaah Bhatia, Shriya Saran, and Shamita Shetty were seen at the temple.
The actress has been in the news for a while due to her rumoured relationship with Thalapathy Vijay. Trisha and Vijay are one of the most popular on-screen pairs in the Tamil film industry. They have co-starred in Ghilli, Thirupaachi, Aathi, Kuruvi, and most recently, Leo. During Ghilli, rumours were rife that they were close to each other, though they maintained that they were just friends. Recently, Trisha and Vijay were also seen attending a reception after the latter's wife claimed that she is divorcing him as he is in an adulterous relationship with an actress.
On the work front, she is set to reunite with Suriya in the upcoming film Karuppu, which is expected to release on May 14.
