Amid much anticipation and buzz, the trailer of Ram Charan's Peddi was recently unveiled in Mumbai. The film, touted as one of the most ambitious and highly anticipated projects in Indian cinema, is headlined by Ram Charan along with Janhvi Kapoor and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles. After the songs, posters, and glimpses created buzz, the newly launched trailer has taken the excitement a notch higher. The film is set to release worldwide on June 4.
The trailer of Peddi, which was launched at a grand event in Mumbai, has now set the stage for what promises to be one of the biggest cinematic spectacles on the horizon. It gives viewers a glimpse into an emotionally charged and action-packed story that's deeply rooted in India's heartland, where various sports are closely woven into the lives and culture of the people. While the makers previously hinted at Ram Charan's transformations as Peddi Pehlwan and a cricketer, the trailer showcases three different sports and three completely distinct avatars of the actor.
The trailer is packed with action, emotions, and powerful moments, promising a cinematic rollercoaster. Ram Charan's striking transformations have, meanwhile, become a major point of discussion among fans, showing his versatility through contrasting avatars, be it a grounded village cricketer or the fierce and dominant Peddi Pehlwan.
Written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi stars Ram Charan in the lead role alongside Shiva Rajkumar, Janhvi Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu, who bring together a strong ensemble that elevates the film's scale and impact. The film is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, in collaboration with Mythri Movie Makers, Sukumar Writings, and IVY Entertainment. It is also co-producer Ishan Saksena.
The upcoming film also has a powerful technical team, including music by A. R. Rahman, cinematography by R. Rathnavelu, production design by Avinash Kolla, editing by Navin Nooli, and executive production by V. Y. Praveen Kumar.
Peddi will be released in North India by Jio Studios and will have its premiere across the world on June 3, 2026, followed by its worldwide theatrical release on June 4, 2026.
