Prabhas in Rebel Saab
The first single from Prabhas' much-awaited The RajaSaab, titled Rebel Saab, is finally out, and it has set the internet on fire. The Rebel Star returns to the dance floor after a long gap, and the moment he appears on screen, that trademark Prabhas swag, charm, and energy hit like a storm. The song even gave fans a delightful glimpse of some of his past iconic characters, a nostalgic throwback that instantly elevates the mass vibe. Thaman S's thumping beats and the colourful, vibrant world of The RajaSaab make the song an instant mass feast, loaded with attitude, nostalgia, and that unbeatable Prabhas flavour fans crave.
The track was launched with a special fan event at Vimal Theatre, where the atmosphere turned into a festival. Fans danced, cheered, recreated the steps, waved flags, and celebrated the superstar like never before. Director Maruthi, producers T. G. Vishwa Prasad, Vivek Kuchibotla, Ishan Saksena, and the film's DOP were present at the event. As the visuals played on the big screen, the celebrations spilled outside the theatre with crowds dancing and chanting for Prabhas.
Talking about the song, Thaman S said, "Rebel Saab is a tribute to Prabhas garu to the aura, the swag, and the unique power he brings to the screen. From the start, it felt like a responsibility to craft a track worthy of his body of work. We knew this had to be the kind of song that becomes legacy-cementing material an anthem for every Rebel fan out there. While building the soundscape, I wanted it to reflect the regal world of The RajaSaab yet carry the mass pulse and nostalgia fans instantly connect with. It has the signature elements of my music and the larger-than-life layers that elevate it into what it needed to be."
The makers had scheduled to release the song at 6 pm during the event. The song was out only by 9 pm leaving fans frustrated. Prabhas skipped the event, and director Maruthi arrived with creative producer SKN. At the event, SKN apologised for the delay and said there was technical glitches which caused it in the first place.
SKN thanked fans for patiently waiting for the song release and apologised. He said during his speech in Telugu, "We wanted to release the song at 6.11 on time but because this is a pan-India film⦠there was a glitch in the Kannada version, and then a glitch in Malayalam that we needed to deal with immediately. This is the first time we're backing a huge film like this, so sorry. I keep getting messages on Twitter that make me angry. Be patient; it will be out soon. Because you and I are no different. We might upload the wrong file while getting tensed."
Directed and written by Maruthi, The RajaSaab is produced by People Media Factory and IVY Entertainment. The film also stars Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, and Boman Irani. It is slated for release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
