The Punjabi entertainment industry has been shaken by the tragic death of singer Harman Sidhu, who lost his life in a devastating road accident at just 37. As per PNC News, the singer died in a road accident that took place late Friday evening. The incident happened when his vehicle collided with a truck.
Reportedly, the singer was returning to his village, Khiala, from the Mansa-Patiala road when his car collided with a truck. According to reports, his vehicle was completely crushed, and Sidhu died on the spot. While the precise cause of the crash is still under investigation, his body was taken to Mansa Civil Hospital for a post-mortem examination, and his family has been notified.
Harman is survived by his wife and a daughter. His family has not yet shared any statement on social media about his demise.
Mourning his untimely death, a netizen tweeted, "A star of the voice has fallen⦠The Punjabi music industry has lost a priceless gem today."
Harman Sidhu was a famous Punjabi singer who hailed from Khiala village near Mansa district. The singer had more than 3K followers on Instagram, 13K subscribers on YouTube and 18K followers on Facebook. He was known for several of his songs, one of the most popular being Paper Ya Pyar, featuring Miss Pooja.
Apart from that, his well-known songs included Bebe Bapu, Babbar Sher, Koi Chakkar Nai, Multan VS Russia, Pai Gaya Pyar, Mobile, Bhagan Wlal Hou, Kheti, Dhole Dian, and more. His fans loved him for his authentic voice.
Back in 2018, Sidhu, along with his four friends, was arrested in Sirsa for possessing an illegal drug, heroin, and was later released. During that time, he reportedly opened up about his addiction issues for over 6-7 months. As per reports in HT, the police had claimed, "He purchases the drug from a Delhi-based Nigerian national at a cheaper rate; it costs very high in Punjab and Haryana."
This news comes just days after another Punjabi singer, Rajvir Jawanda, died in a road accident. The 35-year-old artist succumbed to critical head and spinal injuries sustained in an accident on September 27, 2025. Jawanda had been on life support at Fortis Hospital in Mohali since the crash, but despite the best medical efforts, he passed away today.
