Maa Inti Bangaaram continues to celebrate its blockbuster success. Amid this, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Raj Nidimoru are preparing to embrace parenthood. The actress recently announced that she will be taking a maternity break as the couple gears up to welcome their first child. However, fans have another reason to rejoice, as Raj has confirmed that a Maa Inti Bangaaram sequel is officially in the works and will reunite the same team.
During an event in Vizag, Raj asked fans if they wanted a sequel to Samantha's film. As the crowd erupted in joy, he shared, "Maa Inti Bangaaram Part 2 is coming in two years with the same team. I already have an idea in my mind. The same team will work on it. For the first time, I am inspired to make another part. It will have double the fun and double the excitement. I will come back and tell you more about it later."
Calling the film special, Raj said, "We did so much in Hindi. The Family Man and Stree came and became blockbusters, but I got greater appreciation for Maa Inti Bangaaram than I did for them. So it is very special."
Speaking to iDream Media's YouTube channel, director B.V. Nandini Reddy was asked how she reacted to learning that Samantha was pregnant. She shared, "I actually found out when we were shooting the Thassadiya song. It was almost towards the end of the shoot. They first told me that she wasn't feeling well in the morning. We thought she must have a fever. The next day, I asked her if her fever had come down. At first, she didn't say anything. A minute later, she said, 'Actually, I'm carrying and suffering from morning sickness.' It was during the early part of pregnancy. From there, we took care during the rest of the shoot."
Samantha's Maa Inti Bangaaram earned over Rs 50 crore at the box office. The film's success also coincides with a new chapter in her personal life. Samantha confirmed that she and her husband, Raj Nidimoru, are expecting their first child. The actress announced the news at the Maa Inti Bangaaram success meet in Hyderabad, saying, "Sorry guys, one more small gap and then I will be back. I know I have to take maternity leave now. But I am very happy."
