After dating for several years, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna got engaged in a secret ceremony at the actor's Hyderabad residence. While they have remained tight-lipped about it, eagle-eyed fans recently spotted Rashmika subtly flaunting her engagement ring in a recent Instagram post. This happened days after Vijay was also seen wearing a diamond ring during his temple visit following the engagement.
As Rashmika gears up for Thamma's release, she shared an adorable video playing with her furry buddy, with the song Rahein Na Rahein in the background. While her caption and post primarily focused on the song, fans noticed the actress's huge, sparkling diamond ring on her left hand. Reacting to it, one netizen commented, "rashmika_mandanna Finally we caught the ring!!!" while another wrote, "Confirmm," along with a ring emoji.
A few days earlier, fans spotted an engagement ring on Vijay's finger when he visited the Sri Sathya Sai Baba's Prasanthi Nilayam Ashram with his family. A source close to Vijay confirmed to Hindustan Times that the couple is set to tie the knot in February 2026. So far, they have not shared pictures from the ceremony.
A close aide of Vijay told Hyderabad Times, "The families of Vijay and Rashmika had decided on the auspicious date. The event was an intimate affair with only family members in attendance. The couple plans to tie the knot next year."
Meanwhile, a source close to the actress said, "The plan was to have the ceremony as soon as Rashmika returned from Italy after shooting for Cocktail 2, and it was held soon after her return. Marriage has always been on their minds, and it's now decided that the wedding will take place in 2026. Both families met and formalised things yesterday."
She is currently gearing up for the release of Aditya Sarpotdar's Thamma. The film, releasing this Diwali, stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Paresh Rawal, Sathyaraj, and Faisal Malik in pivotal roles. Apart from this, she has the romantic drama The Girlfriend releasing on November 7. She is also shooting for Cocktail 2 with Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon in Italy. The actress also has Mysaa and Animal Park in the pipeline.
Vijay most recently appeared in the film Kingdom, alongside Satyadev and Bhagyashree Borse in lead roles. Gowtam Tinnanuri directed the film, which was produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya through Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
