Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is currently gearing up for the release of her film Maa Inti Bangaaram. The actress plays an action-packed role in the upcoming family action comedy-drama. The trailer of the film was launched at an event in Hyderabad. Filmmaker Raj Nidimoru, who is reportedly married to Samantha, was also present at the event. In a surprising moment, a fan rushed to the stage to give Samantha a rose.
In a video now doing the rounds on social media, a fan breached security and approached Samantha, who was seated on stage beside Raj Nidimoru. While Raj was addressing the audience about the film, the man suddenly ran onto the stage, taking everyone by surprise.
The fan immediately went down on one knee in front of Samantha and offered her a rose. Raj, initially startled, smiled once he understood the situation. Samantha was seen smiling and blushing at the fan's sweet gesture.
When security personnel tried to pull the fan away, Samantha told them it was okay and even stood up to take a selfie with him. The actress' kind gesture won hearts on social media.
The trailer begins with Samantha arriving at her boyfriend's house, where she is greeted with several questions like, "I think I've seen you before," "What is your name?" and "Where are you from?"
However, she responds with a loaded question of her own: "Do you know who I really am?"
The trailer suggests that her partner, who had been waiting for her for two years, has finally reunited with her. His family members question her about her caste, cooking skills, and siblings, making her feel as though she is being interrogated like a criminal.
She is then introduced to Anusuya, the younger daughter-in-law of the family, who is referred to as "Maa Inti Bangaram" (the gold of our house).
"A daughter-in-law is expected to have many qualities to be seen as the ideal woman. She should be beautiful, lean, well-behaved, and know how to cook and sing," Samantha's character says before adding, "I have none of those qualities. But I have one quality - I can risk everything to keep my family safe."
The trailer then shifts into high-octane action sequences, showing Samantha taking down baddies left, right, and centre. At one point, she warns a man, prompting another woman to ask, "Why did you talk to him like that?" Samantha replies, "Be it a hero or a housewife, when the dialogue lands right, it can scare anyone."
The trailer hints that Samantha's character has a mysterious past, hidden from her present family, involving violence and action-filled confrontations.
Maa Inti Bangaaram is a family action comedy-drama created by Raj Nidimoru and directed by Nandini Reddy. Samantha and Nandini previously collaborated on the hit Telugu drama Oh! Baby.
The film also stars Diganth and Gulshan Devaiah in key roles, with a supporting cast including Sree Mukhi, Gautami, Anand, Lakshmi, Srinivas Gavireddy, and Manjusha. The film is produced by Samantha's banner, Tralala Moving Pictures.
