The political journey of Vijay has not been particularly smooth, even after sweeping the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections 2026. Amid his back-to-back meetings with the Tamil Nadu governor over proving a majority to form a government in the state, a cryptic social media post by one of his closest aides is now going viral on the internet. Vijay's bodyguard, Aroon Suresh, posted a message hinting at difficult struggles and hopeful outcomes, which many saw as an emotional note.
Aroon Suresh, who has been one of Vijay's long-time bodyguards, took to Instagram Stories to share a message about getting beautiful results. He wrote, "Beautiful outcomes come after hard battles," followed by another hopeful line in Tamil, saying, "Confident a irunga Nallathe nadakkum," which roughly translates to "Stay confident, then good things will happen."
Screenshots of the story circulated rapidly across social media platforms, with many fans taking the message as a subtle statement of support for Vijay during a crucial political moment. Notably, although Aroon did not mention Vijay or TVK directly, the timing of the note links it to the actor's ongoing political situation.
Aroon is believed to be very close to the actor. After Vijay's party TVK's historic performance in the TN polls, Aroon celebrated via a post on Instagram that read, "New chapter of Tamil Nadu begins. This is not just a victory - it is the voice of a generation turning into reality." He further said that he is 'proud and privileged' to be part of this journey.
Actor-politician and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) chief C. Joseph Vijay on Friday formally staked a claim to form the government in Tamil Nadu after securing the backing of several opposition parties, taking the strength of his alliance beyond the majority mark in the 234-member Assembly.
Vijay met Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi at Raj Bhavan in Chennai and submitted letters of support from allied parties and independent supporters. The development comes amid days of intense political uncertainty following the fractured mandate delivered in the April 23 Assembly elections, the results of which were declared on May 4.
According to sources, the Governor is expected to formally invite Vijay to form the government later on Friday or early Saturday. The swearing-in ceremony is likely to take place at 11 AM on Saturday in Chennai.
