Actor Suriya is currently busy promoting his upcoming film Karuppu. The makers of RJ Balaji's directorial, which also stars Trisha Krishnan, recently organised a pre-release event in Hyderabad.
At the event, an enthusiastic fan of Suriya broke security protocol and rushed onto the stage to meet the actor. But it was Suriya's heartwarming gesture that became the highlight of the evening.
Several videos from the event have now gone viral on social media. In one of the clips, a young man can be seen running past security and heading straight towards Suriya on stage. The fan appeared eager to hug the actor and click a selfie with him.
As soon as he rushed onto the stage, security personnel sprang into action and pulled him away, beginning to escort him back into the crowd. However, Suriya, who noticed the incident, immediately stopped the security staff and allowed the young fan to approach him.
The actor then happily posed for a selfie with the fan, making his day.
The heartwarming moment quickly went viral online, with fans praising Suriya for handling the situation with calmness and kindness.
The trailer opens on an emotional note, introducing an elderly man and his granddaughter who are forced to repeatedly appear in court as their case drags on without resolution.
Trisha Krishnan plays a lawyer determined to fight for them, but finds herself up against a tough opponent played by RJ Balaji, who seems intent on crushing their hopes.
Just when the odds seem stacked against them, Suriya's character enters the picture, determined to ensure justice is served. Portrayed as both a fierce fighter and a sharp legal mind, he takes on enemies inside and outside the courtroom.
Packed with mass moments, hard-hitting action, and an energetic score by Sai Abhyankkar, the trailer promises an intense big-screen experience.
The film has generated massive excitement among fans and cinephiles. The buzz doubled after the makers released a teaser on Suriya's birthday last year.
The teaser introduces Suriya as lawyer Saravanan, who is also known as Karuppu, and hints at a full-fledged commercial entertainer packed with action, punch dialogues and larger-than-life moments.
Apart from Trisha Krishnan, the film also stars Indrans, Sshivada, Swasika, Yogi Babu and Natty in pivotal roles.
