This Ganesh Chaturthi, ITC Grand Central, Mumbai invites people to immerse themselves in a celebration that beautifully blends tradition, indulgence, and sustainability. It gets even better because it is conveniently located just a short walk from the iconic Lalbaugcha Raja.
A highlight of the celebrations is the Sustainable Ganesh Installation in the hotel lobby — an eco-friendly idol crafted from coconut shells, husk, bamboo, jute thread, and money plants.
While guests can also enjoy modaks with a twist at Fabelle Chocolates, featuring handcrafted white and dark chocolate creations (Rs 845 plus taxes), there is more.
At Dakshin, the South Indian restaurant at the property, savour an authentic vegetarian Saivam Thali (Rs 2250 plus taxes per person).
For those with dietary preferences, a No Onion, No Garlic Thali (Rs 1950 plus taxes per person) is also available.

Flavours of Pangat
This Ganesh Chaturthi, Nav Chaitanya brings back Pangat - its annual sit-down festive meal that the restaurant has been hosting for the last four years.
Pangat begins with an aarti to Lord Ganesha, after which guests are served in timed community-style sittings
The Pangat thali celebrates Maharashtrian flavours with a menu that includes various chutneys, pickles, crispy aloo wadi, and kothimbir wadi. It also includes golden karela bhaji, kala vatana usal, alloocha fadfada, vade, sooji, chibud, varan bhaat, masale bhaat, and modaks too.

While many of you may not be able to visit in time, there are many dishes from the Pangat menu that are on the regular menu. All you need to do is ask them for the specials, and make your own festive meal out of it.
At Gateway to Mumbai in JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, guests can celebrate the festival with their offering, “Modakam – An Offering of Sweet Devotion”, available for delivery on Marriott Bonvoy on Wheels from August 27 to September 6.
The range features thoughtfully curated flavours such as Saffron, Chocolate, Pistachio, Anjir, Akhrot, Almond, Elaichi and Rose.
