Set in stone

Mark your calendars in advance for this stone art session that invites participants to transform an ordinary stone into a personalised work of art. The hands-on session allows you to experiment with colours, patterns and creative designs, turning a simple natural object into a more decorative take-home. Whether you prefer intricate motifs or a free-flowing approach, the workshop is an opportunity to slow down, get creative and take home a piece you have made yourself.

TILL September 27, 3.30 pm
AT Rude Lounge, South Avenue, Powai.

Art of the Bhils

Step into the world of Bhil art, a traditional tribal art practice rooted in the communities of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra. Recognisable for its vibrant dots, strong lines and nature-inspired imagery, Bhil art often draws from the world around it, including animals, trees, plants and elements of everyday life.

The workshop gives participants a chance to understand this distinctive artistic tradition while trying their hand at creating their own piece.

ON September 6 onwards; 2.30 pm
AT Navi Mumbai Marriott Hotel, TTC Estate, Turbhe.
LOG ON TO in.bookmyshow.com
COST Rs 799
