The accused allegedly stops his scooter ahead of the biker after she pulls over near the promenade signal
Mumbai Police have initiated a suo motu action against a man accused of stalking a woman biker at Marine Drive after a video of the incident went viral on social media.
Police said the woman did not wish to file a formal complaint. However, officers contacted her shortly after the video surfaced online and began an inquiry.
Praveen Mundhe, DCP Zone-1, told mid-day, "We have identified the man, and action is being taken against the person concerned."
The woman biker, who posted the video on Instagram, described the incident as a disturbing late-night encounter during a ride along Marine Drive.

Attempts to contact biker
mid-day contacted the woman featured in the video but she didn't make any comment.
