Streets turned into rivers, traffic came to a crawl, and train services were suspended as floodwaters wreaked havoc across the city. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis reviewed the situation with the disaster management department, warning that the next 48 hours will be crucial for Mumbai, Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg, which remain on high alert.
