A CCTV video from Uttar Pradesh`s Chandauli district has sparked widespread attention after it showed Samajwadi Party women`s wing district president Gargi Patel being allegedly assaulted inside her residence by SP leaders. According to police, an FIR has been registered against five people following the incident. Investigators are examining CCTV footage and other evidence to determine the sequence of events and the motive behind the altercation.
