Congress leader D.K. Shivakumar took oath today as the state`s new Chief Minister, replacing Siddaramaiah after the completion of the party`s power-sharing arrangement. The swearing-in ceremony was attended by Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge and several senior Congress leaders. G. Parameshwara took oath as Deputy Chief Minister, while K.H. Muniyappa, K.J. George, Eshwar Khandre, Yathindra Siddaramaiah, Byrathi Suresh and Sharan Prakash Patil were inducted into the new cabinet.
