A video of Gurpatwant Pannun making these claims has been doing rounds on social Gurpatwant Singh Pannun is the chief of the banned outfit Sikhs For Justice. This is not the first time Gurpatwant Pannun has threatened India and its leaders. Earlier in September, Khalistani secessionists held a so-called `Referendum` in Surrey, British Columbia. In a provocative speech, Pannun used intimidating language against PM Narendra Modi, EAM S Jaishankar and other leaders. The Khalistan separation sentiment was fueled after Canadian PM Justin Trudeau voiced up for Hardeep Singh Nijjar. In June 2023, Nijjar, who was a Canadian citizen, was killed in Canada’s Surrey outside a Gurdwara. However, Canadian PM alleged that some Indian agents were involved in Nijjar’s killing.
