An official social media handle run by Rohit's team shared a story of him playing in a net session. Following the story, the video has gone viral.
The right-handed batsman looked in decent touch during the net session. He also displayed a variety of shots. The cricket fans will be excited to see Rohit take the field in the 50-over format series against the Englishmen.
So far, the 39-year-old cricketer has featured in 285 ODI matches for Team India and has scored 11,720 runs. With a top score of 264 runs, he has registered 62 half-centuries and 33 tons to his name.

Earlier, Nitish was ruled out of the white-ball tours of Ireland and England. He sustained a left quadriceps injury during the third ODI match against Afghanistan, according to ESPNcricinfo.

The second clash is scheduled to be played on July 16 at the Sophia Gardens Cricket Ground in Cardiff.
