WATCH: Sachin Tendulkar extends wishes on occasion of Gudi Padwa

On the occasion of Gudi Padwa, legendary Team India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar extended his wishes by sharing a post on his official social media handle.

"तुम्हाला व कुटूंबियांना, गुडीपाडवा व मराठी नववर्षाच्या हार्दिक शुभेच्छा…हे नववर्ष, आनंद, सुख, समृद्धीचे जावो, हीच प्रार्थना करतो (Wishing you and your family a very happy Gudi Padwa and Marathi New Year…May this New Year be filled with joy, happiness, and prosperity)," read his post's caption. Taking to Instagram:

Recently, Sachin's son, Arjun Tendulkar, got married to Saaniya Chandhok. Saaniya is also the granddaughter of Mumbai businessman Ravi Ghai.

On the other hand, Arjun plays for Goa in domestic cricket and has been a part of the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Ahead of the upcoming edition of the cash-rich league, the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) acquired the services of Arjun.

LSG will be led by wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant. The tournament is all set to kick off from March 28. The first match is scheduled to be played between the defending champions, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

The Rishabh Pant-led side will begin their campaign by playing a match against the Delhi Capitals (DC) on April 1 at the Ekana Cricket Stadium B Ground in Lucknow.
