As Sachin Tendulkar turned 53 on Friday, April 24, several former cricketers extended birthday wishes to the legendary Team India cricketer, apart from many fans from all over.
Among all the wishes, one that stood out the most was that of a well-known superfan of the Indian cricket team, Sudhir Kumar Chaudhary, who is also known to be a Sachin Tendulkar fan.
Speaking to ANI, he said, "I always wish Sachin Sir a long life. Then, from here, I'll visit Siddhivinayak temple to wish for Sachin Sir".
Over the years, Sudhir has always been seen cheering for Team India from the stands with a tricolour and conch in his hands.
On the occasion of his birthday, Tendulkar also shared a post with his mother and wife, Anjali, on his official social media handle.
"Perfect start to my day with Aai, Anjali and the trouble maker! What more could a man ask for?," he wrote.
Tendulkar concluded his international career with several records registered in his name. One of the top records is the 100 international centuries across all three formats of the game. He became the first and only player to achieve the feat in the sport's history.
He also enjoys the top spot on the list of players to have played the most number of Test matches, which is 200. He also holds the record of the most runs scored by any player in international cricket.
Representing India in 664 matches, the former right-handed batsman registered 34,357 runs under his name. He is currently the mentor for Mumbai Indians.
Recently, Sachin's son Arjun tied the knot with Saaniya Chandhok. Saaniya is also the granddaughter of Mumbai businessman Ravi Ghai. Currently, Arjun is busy with the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) acquired his services and is yet to play his first match for the franchise.
