In the Women's T20 Asia Cup 2026 match against Pakistan, Team India emerged victorious by seven wickets at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in the United Arab Emirates.
With an aim to chase a target of 56 runs, Team India scored 57 runs for the loss of three wickets in 8.4 overs.
Team India's opening batswoman Shafali Verma scored 12 runs in six balls, including a boundary and a maximum. Fellow opening batswoman Smriti Mandhana managed to score nine runs in 11 balls, which included two boundaries.
Pratika Rawal departed on four runs in three balls, including a boundary. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur and Deepti Sharma stayed unbeaten. Facing 18 balls, Kaur garnered 18 runs, with the help of a boundary and a maximum, whereas Deepti smashed 12 runs in 14 balls, which included a boundary.
Pakistan's skipper Fatima Sana bagged three wickets by conceding 17 runs in three overs. Sadia Iqbal, Nashra Sandhu, and Umme Hani went wicketless in the Women's T20 Asia Cup 2026 match against Team India.
Earlier, having opted to bat first, Pakistan's Muneeba Ali was dismissed on 13 runs in 15 balls, including a boundary. Shawal Zulfiqar scored 14 runs off 14 balls, with the help of three boundaries. Gull Feroza departed on a four-ball duck, whereas Ayesha Zafar returned to the pavilion on two runs in seven balls.
Sadaf Shams and skipper Fatima Sana registered three and zero runs, respectively. Shams faced eight balls, whereas Sana played seven balls.
Eyman Fatima and Umme Hani scored five and six runs, respectively. Facing 10 balls, Eyman smashed a boundary, whereas Umme faced 18 balls. Tuba Hassan and Nashra Sandhu also scored nine and zero runs, respectively. Tuba faced 16 balls and smashed a boundary, whereas Nashra played five deliveries. Facing five balls, Sadia Iqbal stayed unbeaten on zero runs. With this, Pakistan was bowled out for 55 runs in 18.1 overs.
Team India's Shree Charani returned with the figures of three wickets for seven runs in four overs. Prema Rawat also claimed three wickets by conceding nine runs in four overs. Deepti Sharma bagged two wickets, whereas Shafali Verma also chipped in with one wicket. Kranti Gaud and Nandani Sharma went wicketless in the Women's T20 Asia Cup 2026 match against the "Women in Blue".
