Just days before their World Cup game against Croatia on Wednesday, England's stars were shocked to learn that their boots and training equipment had been stolen en route to their training base in Kansas City.

According to British tabloid The Sun, the heist took place when the equipment was being transferred from Florida (where England played three pre-World Cup friendlies) to Kansas City.

By the time the transport van arrived at its destination, equipment such as manager Thomas Tuchel's whiteboard, massage tables, and boots of some players including skipper Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham were missing.
