Tottenham Hotspur defender Micky van de Ven believes they have ‘nothing to lose' when they face Atletico Madrid in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 clash.

Atletico beat Spurs 5-2 last week, but Van de Ven is hoping they can mount a miraculous comeback, drawing inspiration from their 1-1 draw with Liverpool over the weekend.

"We want to do something special. We'll give it our all to turn it around. We showed great character against Liverpool and we can build on that," he said.
