Erling Haaland continued his goal scoring frenzy, netting a hat-trick in the 5-0 demolition of Israel in a Group I encounter on Saturday.
Norway has won all six games and is six points ahead of second-placed Italy, who beat Estonia 3-0 on the night.
The Manchester City striker guided in an angled shot in the 27th minute, added a powerful downward header in the 63rd and a back-post header in the 72nd.
Haaland has now scored 12 goals in six World Cup qualifying games. His record for Norway reads: 51 goals in 46 matches.
He has also scored 12 goals in nine games this season for his club.
