In the crime drama, Raid, audiences will witness an epic on-screen battle between two of the most multifaceted actors of the industry. In the film, Ajay Devgn plays the role of Amay Patnaik, a fearless IT officer who conducts a long-running raid at the home of Saurabh Shukla, who plays the role of Rameshwar "Rajaji" Singh, the primary antagonist in the film. Shukla's Singh is the most powerful man in the city, while Patnaik attempts to curb his menace.

The veteran actors have worked with each other in the past and are extremely fond of one another. Patnaik is an honest, albeit risk-taking and unorthodox officer. He visits the house of Saurabh Shukla aka Tauji, who has been a Member of Parliament thrice. He is feudal, slightly psychotic, corrupt and hold the notion that one can put a price tag on everything. He tries to urge Patnaik to return. But Patnaik's ultimate motive is to nab Tauji's black money, and curb the corruption.

Gulshan Kumar and T-Series present, A Panorama Studios Production, Raid, which is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak. Raj Kumar Gupta's directorial venture releases today.
