Akshay Kumar to help Sidharth Malhotra shape up for an action entertainer

Apparently, Akshay Kumar once again assumed the role of a mentor for his 'Brothers' co-star Sidharth Malhotra as he preps for an action-comedy co-starring Jacqueline Fernandez

When it comes to fitness discipline, there's no one better than Akshay Kumar. And Sidharth Malhotra, who shared screen space with the Khiladi in 'Brothers' (2015) knows that well. For the 'Warriors' remake last year, Akki had taken on the task of training Sid in martial arts and building muscle mass. We hear he has once again assumed the role of a mentor for the young actor as he preps for an action-comedy co-starring Jacqueline Fernandez.

A source says, "Sidharth is working towards attaining a particular physique since he has quite a few stunts in the film. He is also expected to go abroad for extensive training. But at the moment, he is working out with Akshay who has a foreigner trainer for himself."

Akshay is a qualified martial arts instructor and has also received the prestigious accolade of Shihan — teachers' teacher. He holds a sixth degree black belt in karate and a black belt in taekwondo too. Sidharth's daily training sessions with the star take place at the latter's personal gym, reveals the source, adding, "Akki's security guards have been asked to ensure that pictures of the two actors training together are not leaked.

A couple of days ago, the paparazzi had tailed Sidharth and wanted to click a few pictures of his when the guards intervened." We tried to get in touch with Sidharth but he remained unavailable for comment.
