Ahead of Irrfan Khan starrer Karwaan's release which is based on a road trip, his co-star and Bollywood debutant Dulquer Salmaan shares his top travel destinations to visit in India. The actor who will be seen next in the travel movie, Karwaan also happens to be a travel junkie in real life.
Out of so many roads to visit, this South Indian Superstar seems to get more attracted to the routes leading to the mountains and desert of India.

Dulquer revealed by saying, "I want to see more of the Himalayas cause I have not actually seen them. So I definitely want to visit Himachal, I want to experience the beauty of Leg Ladakh and Spiti, (Jim) Corbett National Park is another one on the top of my list. I'd love to see Ranthambore and the Anandas as well... I feel like I am stuck in the same region. I want to explore Rajasthan more, I have also seen a few places that I want to see more. Sikkim for example, I did Meghalaya but I want to see it more. I did a day of shoot there recently but I didn't get a chance to explore the place."

Himachal Pradesh
Blended with beauty and thrill, the mountainous region is another desirable location of Dulquer's list. From Manali, Kullu, Kasol, Kufri to Dharamsala, Himachal offers a wide range of places to be explored. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, Himachal Pradesh is a place where one can walk on the clouds, romance the hilly terrain and enjoy the cool breeze.
Spiti Valley
A cold desert composed of austere barren mountains and deep gorges formed by the fierce Spiti River. Being a mountain person, Dulquer shares adds another hilly area on his list as his favorite destination of all time.
Leh Ladakh
Known to be giving road trip goals since forever, Leh Ladakh is the ultimate road trip location. Setting out on bikes to explore the beautiful travel destination is one of Dulquer's travel fantasies.
Jim Corbett National Park
Uttarakhand's Jim Corbett National Park is yet another destination on Dulquer's mind. Thicloserse to nature spot is known to be a perfect location for jeep rides, giving you the thrill in life as you sweep through the jungles looking for animals.
Ranthambore
Yet another place known for its National park, Ranthambore too is a favorable jeep ride to explore the wildlife amidst the lap of nature.
Rajasthan
The deserts of Rajasthan form for one of the most desired locations for long jeep rides exploring the rich and varied culture of the city.
Anandas
While Dulquer earlier mentioned Anandas, he particularly has a specific destination in mind. The spa resort serves to be one of the desired locations on the actor's list for a relaxing and calming experience.
Sikkim
From glaciers, plateaus, highest mountain in India to the most delightful flowery locations, Sikkim offers it all making it one of the most desirable places to visit in India.
Meghalaya
Known to receive the highest rainfall, the state of Meghalaya showcases 50 shades of green with its scenic beauty and landscape locations, the actor who has visited the place for a shoot earlier hasn't had enough of it and wishes to explore it more.
Sharing an uncanny resemblance with his first Bollywood road trip movie and his love for wanderlust, Dulquer is all set to make his debut by adding another name to Bollywood's legacy of road trip movies.
Karwaan revolves around 3 oddballs from different walks of life who are thrown together on a somewhat bizarre expedition which helps them find normalcy in their lives. Produced by Ronnie Screwvala's RSVP in association with Priti Rathi Gupta of Ishka films, Karwaan is directed by Akarsh Khurana and is slated to release on 3rd August 2018.
