Akshaye Khanna and Aamir Khan were seen together in 'Dil Chahta Hai' and have remained quite close since then. Akshaye and Aamir always kept in touch even after they were done with the film. Recently Aamir had invited Akshaye for the special screening of his film 'Secret Superstar'. According to a source, Mr. Perfectionist is quite impressed with Akshaye Khanna's film- 'Ittefaq's trailer.

"While having a chat with Akshaye, Aamir told him that he was intrigued by 'Ittefaq's trailer and is looking forward to watching the film," said the source. Apparently, Akshaye has also coordinated with the makers of the film to hold a special screening for Aamir.

"Akshaye Khanna has told the makers of the film to organize a special screening of the film soon for Aamir. Akshaye will host Aamir himself," divulged the source. The thriller, which has got everyone captivated, features Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha apart from Akshaye, who'll be seen on screen after a long hiatus.

A film by Shah Rukh Khan and wife Gauri Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment and Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, 'Ittefaq' is all set to hit the theatres on November 3.
