Hina Khan, who is locked up in the Bigg Boss house, had South female actors gunning for her yesterday. A video of the TV actor telling housemates that she was approached for several South films, which starred Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu, has found its way online.
Hina declined the offers as the makers wanted her to look plump for the role. She added that the South filmmakers had this particular perception of how female actors should look -- fat and bulging. Among those who lashed out at Hina was Hansika Motwani.
She wrote on social media, "What is this supposed to mean? How can she degrade the South industry like this? Doesn't she know a lot of Bollywood actors have worked and are working in the South?" Controversies and Hina always go together.
