Nilesh Shrivastav, the 35-year-old security guard at the store, has not reported to work since the night of the robbery and has been missing. The police have named him as a prime suspect and are on the lookout for him.

According to employees at the store, Shrivastav was on duty with another security guard on Friday. Late at night, he asked his fellow guard to take rest and sleep in a security cabin near the shop. When he was handed over the keys to the shop, Shrivastav allegedly robbed the store between 3 am and 4 am on Saturday morning, and fled with the loot.

Sources from the Bandra police station said that every person who was in touch with Shrivastav had been detained and questioned, but no leads had been found.u00a0

Colleagues have also been interrogated, but nobody has any clue about Shrivastav’s whereabouts.

A case has been registered under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including housebreaking, and investigations are on in the case.
