Indian cricketer and Kings XI Punjab captain KL Rahul is trending on social media. However, this time it is not for any performance on the cricket field, but rather one of his latest posts on Instagram.
On November 5, KL Rahul took to social media to wish his rumoured girlfriend and Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty on her birthday. KL Rahul shared a cute photo along with Athiya Shetty wishing her on her birthday calling her a 'mad child.' He simply wrote, "Happy birthday mad child." The post has since received over 16 lakh likes on Instagram.

Rumours of KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty dating have been doing the rounds for quite some time now. Rahul and Athiya have been spottted together going out for dinners and other outings on numerous occasions. Even though KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty have never officially admitted to being in a relationship, their social media posts have created quite the curiousity among their fans in Bollywood and cricket.
KL Rahul had his best season in IPL this year and is the leading run scorer at the IPL 2020 with 670 runs from 14 matches including 1 century and 5 fifties. Sadly, KL Rahul's Kings XI Punjab could not make the IPL playoffs as they finished 6th on the IPL points table.

Athiya Shetty, daughter of Bollywood star Suniel Shetty, celebrated her 28th birthday on November 5 (same as Virat Kohli). Ever since her Bollywood debut, Hero, in 2015, Athiya has appeared in a few films such as Mubarakan and Motichoor Chaknachoor.
