The actress recently tweeted that “it was coming up pretty badly!!” This amusingly reminds me of the comment that Kareena Kapoor Khan had made about Priyanka’s accent on Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan. Bebo had then famously asked: “I wonder where Priyanka got her accent from?”
Priyanka had later responded to this barb saying, “I want to tell Kareena that I got my accent from the same place where Saif got his.” Piggy Chops has always maintained that her accent was not fake — as she attended high school in the US, it comes naturally to her. Looks like it won’t take her long to master the Yankee accent too.
