Advocate Kamna Vohra said, "Today, in the case pertaining to Sajjan Kumar, before Kaveri Baweja, Special CBI Judge, the court had to hear the arguments on the point of sentence in this case... We handed over our compilation and written synopsis on behalf of the complainant to the court, which has been taken on record... The defence counsel has also been directed to file their written submission within 2 days... The court has fixed the date for pronouncement of order on the point of sentence on 25th of February at 2 pm... Security across Amritsar was tightened in view of the anniversary of Operation Blue Star. Notably, Operation Blue Star was carried out by the Indian Army in June 1984. Its aim was to capture Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale and his supporters hiding in the Golden Temple.
