Gyanvapi Case: Attempts made to stop Puja despite court's order, claims lawyer

The Hindu side lawyer Vishnu Jain has claimed that attempts are being made to stop Puja despite the Court’s order. Advocate Jain has said that there are continuous attempts made by the members of the Muslim community, who are going to offer ‘namaz’, to ‘demolish’ the cellar. Vishnu Shankar Jain said, “There is a very important thing that has developed in Gyanvapi after the order passed by the district judge of Varanasi on January 31, 2024. The survey of the Gyanvapi mosque premises began after the Allahabad High Court rejected the petition filed by Muslim litigants seeking a stay on the Varanasi court`s order for a scientific survey by the ASI.
