Improvement in simulation realism has attracted wide-ranging focus from the academic side and innovative ventures involved in self-navigational systems. In such an arena, Nagaraju Islavath’s dedication to make each tool and interface as friendly as possible has opened the door to complex simulations to even smaller projects that would typically lack human resources for such activities.

It has not been without challenges, however, a better understanding of robotics sensor accuracy is initiated below. Some of the regular problems have been the so-called reality gap meaning the difference between the contents of a simulation and effective practice. To overcome this, Nagaraju made efforts to engage the use of advanced physics-based rendering into the simulation platforms to improve the similarity to real conditions.
