Udaipur-based Oltao is redefining smart, energy-efficient ceiling fans in India- blending design, tech, and local manufacturing power.

In 2019, when Mehul Soni borrowed ₹4.6 lakh to start a ceiling fan company from his hometown of Udaipur, few could have predicted the scale his vision would eventually reach. Today, Oltao is not just another name in the appliance market - it is a fast-growing design-driven brand delivering over a thousand premium ceiling fans every month to customers across India.

At just 31, Mehul has built Oltao into a national name by doing what many would consider improbable: keeping both R&D and now full-fledged manufacturing operations based in the southern Rajasthan city more famous for its palaces and lakes than industrial prowess. “Innovation doesn’t need a metro pin code,” Mehul says. “We believed a small-town brand could make a big impact - and we’ve proven it.”
