"Who says a hole cannot be made in the sky? Toss a stone with all your heart,." This classic couplet perfectly captures the relentless spirit of filmmaker, writer, and actor Shashie Vermaa, whose journey proves that when intentions are pure and resolute, no dream is too far out of reach. Carving a niche for himself as a true underdog in the industry, Shashie is a filmmaker who simply wants to be an authentic storyteller, relying entirely on the honesty of his craft rather than superficial glamour.

Recently, Shashie has been making headlines for his social and children's based  film Murga Trophy, set against the backdrop of Jharkhand tribal. The film is gaining traction on global platforms and has been nominated and screened at several international film festivals. Recognizing the poignant narrative, picturization and direction of this film, Jharkhand's Chief Minister, Hemant Soren, is now extending his support to the project.
