Born on 4th August 2002, Anushka Sen began career in television in 2009 at the age of 7. She has been a part of shows like Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli, Balveer, Jhansi Ki Rani among others.
In 2021, she entered the stunt-based reality TV show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 11. After this, she starred in web series like Dil Dosti Dilemma.
After an impressive stint in Indian cinema, she got fascinated by Korean culture and dramas during pandemic. This inclination led to a desire of her working in that environment and she bagged her first ever project- Asia.
According to reports, Sen is not the only foreign actor in Lee Jung-sub's film, which he also wrote and directed. She will reportedly play the role of an assassin which is all together a new territory for her.
The actress also starred in Asia’s spin-off series, Crush, alongside South Korean Olympic shooter Kim Ye-ji, expanding her global presence. Kim Ye-ji won the silver medal in the Paris Olympics 2024.
At just 21, Anushka Sen has made waves on the global stage as the youngest brand ambassador for Korean Tourism. Her appointment at such a young age sets her apart as a trailblazing figure in the entertainment industry.
Sen has further solidified her global presence through her collaboration with Grammy Award winner Ken Lewis and American singer AY Young on the United Nations Sustainable Development’s Project 17. She joined them for their battery tour in US.
The actress received a warm and unforgettable welcome in South Korea, with her posters lighting up billboards. She made history as the first Indian star to be featured on Korean billboards across the country. Her billboards were across Seoul’s busy Myeong-dong district and in Busan.
Sen was invited by the Mayor of Seoul to be a part of their National ceremony. The very prestigious Korean traditional ceremony of ringing the New Year bell celebrates their culture and is quite significant. She was the first Indian to be invited to be a part of the ceremony alongside the mayor.
Whenever in Korea, the diva truly lives her K Drama moment and her stunning appearance in their traditional hanbok proves it. A hanbok is traditional style of clothing, which comprises long high-waisted skirts, worn during formal occasions.
