Deepika Padukone to Shahid Kapoor, celebs who purchased property worth crores in 2024

Scores of Bollywood actors have invested in properties worth crores this year. As 2024 ends, we look at the massive purchases made by our stars who aim to live life king-size


In September, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan purchased a space in Eternia, Mulund West for Rs 2.54 crore. He paid a stamp duty of Rs 15.23 lakh.

Following the footsteps of his father, actor Abhishek Bachchan also bought a property in the same building for Rs 2.22 crore. He paid a stamp duty of Rs 13.33 lakh.

In May, Shahid Kapoor purchased a property in 360 West by Oberoi Realty, Lower Parel for Rs 58.66 crore. He paid a stamp duty of Rs 1.7 crore.

In June, actress Triptii Dimri, who has a massive lineup of films ahead, acquired a property in Carter Road, Bandra for Rs 14 crore. She paid a stamp duty of Rs 70 lakh.

In July, film producer Boney Kapoor purchased a property in Samata Deep Co-op Housing, Bandra for Rs 63 lakh. He paid a stamp duty of Rs 3.7 lakh.

In August, actor-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut, who was elected as an MP during this year’s Lok Sabha Elections, bought a property in Arch One, Oshiwara for Rs 1.56 crore. She paid a stamp duty of Rs 9.3 lakh.

In June, Aamir Khan bought a property at Bella Vista Apartment, Bandra for Rs 9.76 crore. He paid Rs 58.54 lakh in stamp duty.

In September, days after welcoming her daughter Dua, Deepika Padukone, along with her father Prakash Padukone purchased a property in Sagar Resham Co-operative Housing Society, Bandra for Rs 17.78 crore. They paid a stamp duty of Rs 1.6 crore.

Her husband Ranveer Singh’s mother Anju Bhavnani also made a purchase in her name in the same vicinity for Rs 19.13 crore. She paid a stamp duty of Rs 95.6 lakh.

In October, father-son duo Suniel Shetty and Ahan Shetty acquired a property in Garden Home, Bandra for Rs 8.02 crore. They paid a stamp duty of Rs 40.08 lakh.
