Cristiano and Georgina first met in 2016 by chance at a Gucci boutique in Madrid, Spain, where Georgina was working as a sales assistant.

The two officially went public in January 2017 by appearing together at the Best FIFA Football Awards in Zurich.

In June 2017, Georgina stepped into a maternal role as the couple welcomed Cristiano's twins, Eva and Mateo, via a surrogate.

Later in May, Cristiano made their relationship Instagram official by posting their first photo together on social media with a red heart emoji.

Later in November of the same year, the couple welcomed their first biological child together, a daughter named Alana Martina.

In 2018, Georgina moved to Turin, Italy, to support Cristiano following his major transfer from Real Madrid to Juventus.

In January 2022, Georgina released her hit Netflix docuseries, I Am Georgina, wherein she detailed the early days of their romance.

In April 2022, the couple welcomed another daughter, Bella Esmeralda. However, they also tragically announced that her newborn twin brother, Ángel, passed away during birth.

In January 2023, the family started a new chapter by relocating to Riyadh after Cristiano signed a landmark deal with football club Al Nassr.

On August 11, 2025, Cristiano proposed to Georgina. She shared a picture of her massive diamond ring with the caption, "Yes, I do. In this and in all my lives".

Exactly one year after their engagement on August 11, 2026, the couple married in an intimate civil ceremony in Cascais, Portugal, in the presence of their five children.
