Both Haaland and Johansen are from Bryne, a small town in southwestern Norway. 

Isabel also has a younger brother, about whom she has often posted on social media. However, his name is not known.

Johansen played for Bryne FK’s women’s team. Interestingly, Erling also played for the Bryne FK team during his youth years.

Despite knowing each other from their youth football days, Haaland and Johansen did not begin dating until after the Norwegian striker moved to Germany to play for Borussia Dortmund in January 2020.

The couple has reportedly been together since sometime in 2021. Haaland once revealed it was Johansen who made the first move. “She sent me a message. But she played for the same club I played for, Bryne. So she checked me out; I didn't check her out,” Haaland told NRK.

Although she no longer plays the sport competitively, she has often shared how she still misses playing. “To be honest, I wasn’t the best with dribbling and stuff. I was more with speed. I was running. I miss it a lot," she had said during a YouTube video in 2025.

Isabel is currently building a steady following as an influencer on Instagram, where she shares fashion and lifestyle content with more than 440,000 followers.

She also occasionally shares food recipes and cooking videos, showing off her culinary side.

Johansen and Haaland welcomed their first child, a son in December 2024. Although they have not publicly shared their son’s name, they have offered glimpses into their family life together occasionally.

Isabel recently grabbed attention with her frequent spottings, supporting Haaland from the stands during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
