Akriti was born on May 2, 2003, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. She spent her early years in Lucknow before moving to Mumbai with her family as a teenager.
She finished school in Lucknow and then went on to study Bachelor of Management Studies at Nirmala Memorial Foundation College in Mumbai.
Her journey as a content creator gained momentum during the COVID-19 lockdown. She started off with TikTok, posting dance and lip-sync videos on the platform.
She also made her acting debut with the Telugu thriller film Trimukha, which also starred Sunny Leone. The film released on January 31, 2026.
Akriti and Prithvi have been in a relationship for a long time and have often dropped hints about their relationship such as spotting together.
Although they have largely kept their relationship private, many fans often credit Akriti for being a positive influence during the low phase of Shaw’s career.
On March 8, 2026, the couple made it official by announcing their engagement in a dreamy post on social media. Sharing the news, Prithvi wrote, "From sixes on the field to a lifetime of hits off it. She’s my perfect innings!"
