Arbaaz Khan revealed in a group interview that Sonakshi Sinha was considered for 'Dolly Ki Doli' before finalising on Sonam Kapoor. 

"We had many names. We had to see availability of actresses. We also considered Sonam while scripting. We wanted someone as young as possible for this film," he added.
