The veteran composer-singer recorded a track Justice for Widows as the International Widow's Day charity song and also performed at Hyde Park

This is apparently the first time that an Indian has lent his voice to this charity. Baroness Stowell, spokesperson at The House of Lords, Lakshmi Puri, assistant secretary-general for intergovernmental support at the United Nations entity for gender equality, Cherie Blair and Lord Loomba were present.
