The casting for Shailesh R Singh's film on an IPS officer couple just got interesting. Sources from the creative team say original choice Aishwarya Rai Bachchan finally had a meeting with the filmmaker after apparently keeping him on hold and cancelling appointments as reported in hitlist on September 9.
Ash is said to have had a story sitting with Singh. But sources from Yash Raj now say, tired of waiting for her, the filmmaker approached their talent, Bhumi Pednekar, for the role of a cop. Now till Bachchan says an aye or nay, mum's the word for the YRF folk.
