Diana Penty took to social media to share that she is proud of her family lineage. On the sidelines of Armed Forces Flag Day, Penty paid homage to the Indian defence personnel by sharing a photo of a history textbook page, which features her family members. Penty wrote, "My grandfather and his sisters served in the army around 70 years ago.
It's such a privilege and honour to know that somewhere history isn't just someone else's story, it's mine too. I salute the men and women in uniform who have worked tirelessly to protect our country."
