If all goes well, Sanjay Dutt may soon become the brand ambassador of a chain of fitness clubs and gyms starting with one in Bandra. Last week, he had attended the launch of Prabodh Davkhare's Health-works India gym at Thane.

At the opening, Sanjay Dutt had said, "Prabodh Davkhare is a good friend and I have always told him to push his efforts even further. "



Prabodh says, "Sanju bhaiya and I go back for more than a decade as his dad and my dad (NCP leader Vasant Davkhare, ex-Mayor Thane and currently Vice Chairman of Thane Legislative Council) have known each other for years.

My fitness guru
Davkhare adds, "This year, when I started the Thane gym Sanju had promised to come and launch it. He has always been my guru in fitness and when I was young I used to ask him to give me diet tips to build my body. There is no star in the film industry who is much into fitness as him. At the Thane opening said if required he would be the brand ambassador of my fitness clubs."

An inspiration
Dutt and Davkhare are also in talks regarding a fitness project in Bandra. Prabodh says, "Sanju and I are discussing the level and length of his involvement. Once everything is finalised, we can decided the name of the gym too. Sanju has been very inspiring, and he's the sole reason that today I am in the fitness business. I would love to have Sanjay Dutt to advise my gym members."
