However, Twitter went berserk over this announcement and mercilessly trolled the flamboyant filmmaker. Reason being, Karan made the announcement with Akshay Kumar's photo from the film, which did not go down well with the Twitterati. He had written, "The lead actress in #KESARI is ........PARINEETI CHOPRA! @ParineetiChopra (sic)."
