Actress Kareena Kapoor will be walking the ramp for Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) Summer/Resort 2014, which kick starts from March 12.

She will walk the ramp for ace designer Rajesh Pratap Singh. "Yes, this year too Kareena, being the brand ambassador of Lakme, will be walking the ramp for the finale. She is quite excited about it," Purnima Lamba, Head Innovations (Lakme), said.
"Being the brand ambassador, Kareena is involved creatively in some areas for the finale. She gives ideas, suggestions on various things like her eye make-up etc," she said. Pratap Singh is quite excited to present his collection, inspired by Lakme Absolute Color Illusion, as the grand finale designer. "I am really looking forward for the finale.
The collection will be a magnificent interplay of light and colour through make-up and outfits that represent my signature style of simplistic cuts and flawless detailing," he said.
"I had not met her anytime. My focus would be to keep her look to the essence of the show that spells mystery with each stroke of cool metallic shades," he added.
The Lakme Fashion Week Summer/ Resort 2014 will be held at a suburban five-star hotel from March 12 to 16 where a total of 98 designers will be presenting their best collection. Celebrity fashion designer Manish Malhora will be opening the fashion gala.
