Katrina Kaif's chock-a-block schedule seems to have worked in favour of Shraddha Kapoor, who is now apparently the prime contender for Shree Narayan Singh's next, Batti Gul Meter Chalu.
The Shahid Kapoor-starrer was to pair the actor with Kaif, but, the latter's commitments have kept her from green-lighting the project. A source tells mid-day that Singh is vying for Shraddha to feature alongside Shahid, after the duo first collaborated on Haider (2014).
"Negotiations with Shraddha are on. She is yet to give her nod. But, she should be able to work on it."
